Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospital

State-of-the-Art Specialist Treatment Centre

Phase 5 represents an important element of the continuing strategic development of the UCLH estate following UCLH’s Phase 3 Macmillan Cancer Centre, on which BMJ was lead technical advisor and Phase 4 Proton Beam Therapy developments. The new building accommodates ambulatory and day-case services of the Eastman Dental Hospital and the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital.

The project makes optimal use of a constricted inner-city site in London’s busy Fitzrovia area. The new build provides clinical facilities in six floors above ground and three below ground floors. Upper levels accommodation is predominately consulting spaces whilst basement floors house procedure rooms, MRI and CT scanning suites, staff accommodation and plant.
